Attendees can check transportation and tourism options, make bookings, and pay, all through a single event-dedicated website.
GroundK (CEO Jang Dong-won), a mobility specialist, announced on the 9th the launch of its MICE Destination Portal', a platform covering every stage of an attendee's stay in Korea from arrival to departure, and confirmed it will go live at an international event later this year. The launch marks the company's expansion beyond supplying technology to event operators into delivering attendee-facing services on the ground.

The portal aggregates official shuttle routes, timetables, and stop locations alongside transfer options and bookable products for getting from the airport or rail station to the venue. Depending on the event configuration, attendees can also book and pay for dedicated vehicles, KTX tickets, luggage delivery, eSIMs, and local tour programs. The platform addresses two persistent pain points: attendees having to chase information across multiple sources, and organizers fielding queries that fall outside official transportation arrangements. Everything needed to plan transfers and in-destination logistics can now be handled in one place.
At present, the portal leads with transportation services built on GroundK's operational experience delivering group transfers at international events and its proprietary T-RiseUp technology. Going forward, the company plans to partner with travel service providers to layer in arrival guidance, accommodation support, and destination-specific content calibrated to MICE schedules. The longer-term goal is for event attendance to extend naturally into in-city stays and leisure, turning the conference experience into a broader hospitality proposition for the host destination.
CEO Jang Dong-won said: "A MICE attendee's experience doesn't end when they leave the conference hall. Everything from arriving in Korea to getting around, settling in, and eventually departing should flow as a single connected journey. Starting from transportation, we'll broaden our collaboration with travel service partners to give attendees a genuinely convenient stay while creating touchpoints that drive tourism and local spending for host destinations."
