GroundK Proves Its Mobility Capability at Busan and Jeju International Conferences with Full VMS Deployment

GroundK operated transport for international conferences in Busan and Jeju, fully deploying its proprietary Vehicle Management System (VMS). Integrated operation — from airport transfers to venue shuttles — raised the quality of its mobility services.

Integrated operations in Busan and Jeju

At the Our Ocean Conference and the APEC Ministerial Meeting Responsible for Trade (MRT) held in Busan in May, GroundK handled everything from immigration transfers to hotel-venue connections, deploying VMS to provide tailored transport combining dignified protocol and regular shuttles for more than 20 ministers and officials. At APEC SOM2 in Jeju, it also applied VMS to enhance transport service quality across regions with differing infrastructure.

VMS, developed in house

Since the 2019 ASEAN-Korea Commemorative Summit, GroundK has grown into a MICE-specialized mobility company, developing an in-house platform capable of real-time vehicle tracking, operation monitoring, driver management, and traffic analysis. CEO Jang Dong-won expressed confidence that GroundK will be present at the moments that raise the quality of Korea's MICE events, including the APEC Summit.
