2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon Winter Transport Report: GroundK’s Smart Shuttle Solution Thaws the Cold

What comes to mind when you think of "Christmas"? Is it a fluttery date with a loved one, the Santa Claus you waited for as a child, or perhaps a heartfelt gift? For Christmas, the final event of 2025, GroundK headed to the site of SBS Gayo Daejeon to present a gift-like moment to K-POP fans. Following 2024 and the 2025 Summer edition, GroundK has taken full responsibility for all transportation at the Winter edition, establishing itself as the undisputed representative partner for concert shuttles.

Unlike the Gayo Daejeon Summer edition in July, which transported 13,000 spectators over two days, this Winter edition was held with high intensity on Christmas Day. GroundK established a flexible strategy based on previous experiences.

Routes were streamlined from the three used during Summer (Hapjeong/Sports Complex/Dongdaemun History & Culture Park) to two major hubs (Hapjeong/Sports Complex) where demand was concentrated, efficiently managing approximately 4,400 shuttle seats. Furthermore, unlike Kintex in Ilsan, which had open vacant land, Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, required precise vehicle management due to the presence of other travel agency buses and private cars. GroundK focused more on vehicle movement and safety management based on data, and strictly separated the routes for NOL Universe hotel package users and shuttle users to create a much more pleasant environment.

The seamless transportation of this Gayo Daejeon was backed by GroundK's specialized shuttle service, 'RIDEUS'. RIDEUS provides user-centric IT solutions that go beyond simple vehicle dispatch. Through a dedicated reservation page for Gayo Daejeon, spectators could easily select routes and book seats. Meticulous notification services, ranging from booking confirmation emails to reminder emails sent the day before the performance, helped ensure peace of mind for all attendees. This one-stop reservation system was a key factor in preventing confusion at a crowded concert site.

On the day of the event, GroundK's on-site responsiveness shined amidst fierce sea winds and extreme cold. To minimize waiting times, we focused on separating passengers by destination hubs rather than strict QR code checking during departure, encouraging rapid boarding. As a result, congestion was significantly reduced, ensuring smooth return transportation. Furthermore, standby vehicles remained even after the official departure time to ensure no single spectator was left behind. Our meticulous service also included safely keeping and returning lost items found on-site to their owners, adding a touch of warmth to the experience.
