- Connecting major hubs in Seoul with 7 ski resorts nationwide… Overcoming winter travel limitations
- Providing resort-exclusive reservation environments through White Label TMS
- Expanding direct routes from Incheon Airport… Strengthening accessibility for global skiers
GroundK (CEO Dong-won Jang), a mobility innovation company, announced that it is enhancing mobility convenience during the winter season by operating a smart shuttle transport network connecting Seoul with seven major ski resorts nationwide, based on its mobility system T-RiseUp.
Domestic ski resorts are mostly located in mountainous areas of Gyeonggi-do or Gangwon-do and other city outskirts, making them difficult to access without a private vehicle. To address this limitation, GroundK has established a convenient and efficient transport environment with a shuttle system that directly connects to the resorts. By analyzing the demand and travel patterns for each resort, 2-3 optimized routes were designed for each location, minimizing travel distance for users and allowing them to arrive at their destinations without the stress of driving.
The core of this case is the TMS (Ticket Management System), which digitally integrates the entire process of shuttle reservation, ticket validation, and settlement, ensuring both operational efficiency and stability. Furthermore, through the 'White Label' feature, dedicated reservation pages reflecting each resort's brand identity are provided. This allows users to book seamlessly within the official environment, while operators can maintain a consistent brand experience. Tourist options have also been expanded. Along with one-way and round-trip configurations, direct shuttles from Incheon International Airport have been added to certain routes, increasing accessibility for international tourists and long-distance travelers.
Regarding this achievement, Seong-bok Kim, CSO of GroundK, stated, “We will establish ourselves as a reliable mobility partner not only for winter ski resorts but across all seasonal large-scale transport demands, such as summer water parks.”
