Early Move-in Challenges Created by Transportation Infrastructure Gaps

The Hwayang District development area, due to its early move-in stage characteristics, was an environment where transportation inconveniences directly affected resident satisfaction until public transportation such as city buses and living infrastructure were fully established. In particular, ‘Pyeongtaek Hwayang Humanville First City’ was the first complex to begin move-in in the Hwayang District, making the question of how to solve residents’ mobility issues before transportation infrastructure was fully developed a critical challenge.
Early move-in transportation inconvenience was not simply a matter of mobility, but a key factor that determined settlement conditions and quality of life.
The developer recognized these limitations and decided to introduce a resident-only shuttle service to reliably support residents’ daily transportation needs.

A System-Centered Shuttle Solution

In this process, Rideus presented a solution through a system-centered shuttle operation method that could be operated without relying on on-site personnel. The key was to establish a stable shuttle service from the early move-in stage without complex staffing or operational burdens.

Web-Based Shuttle System Anyone Can Use Immediately

Rideus built a web-based shuttle system that anyone can use immediately without installing a separate app. Residents can easily check shuttle operation information and usage guides through their mobile phones, and we applied an intuitive UI that allows users to check only the necessary information, designed to be easy to use regardless of age or digital proficiency.

User-Centered Service Experience

We also implemented user-centered service improvements considering actual usage situations. Information that residents need, such as lost and found notices, operation changes and emergency alerts, and inquiry responses, was promptly delivered through announcements, pop-up emergency notices, and one-touch CS connection, minimizing inconveniences during the usage process.

Efficient Design Covering Routes, Dispatch, and Operations

The overall shuttle operation was comprehensively designed based on a system covering route planning, dispatch, and operation management. By analyzing residents’ usage patterns and time-based demand to configure efficient routes, and operating dispatch and operation management through a web system, unnecessary operations and waiting times could be reduced even during the early move-in period. As a result, we were able to establish a stable shuttle operation system while maintaining consistency in service quality.

A Proven Operation Case Even in Early Development Areas

This case is a representative example of successfully establishing a resident-only shuttle service through a web-based system, easy UI, and system-centered operation alone, even in a development area before transportation infrastructure was fully established. Beyond resolving early move-in transportation inconveniences, this mobility operation case holds significance as it practically improved settlement conditions.
