Received High Praise for Perfect Management of 500 Vehicles at Korea-Africa Summit in June

GroundK (CEO Dong-won Jang), which provides global customized mobility services, is showing remarkable growth. As international events resume in earnest with the COVID-19 endemic phase, the company is standing out as demand increases for customized transportation services, business travel, and protocol services in Korea, similar to developed countries.

GroundK was responsible for customized mobility services at over 10 MICE events this year, including major events. Starting with the Busan World Table Tennis Championships in February, they managed significant events such as the Bulgari Studio Global Event (March), Korea-Africa Summit, Deloitte Global Meeting (both in June), Audi Summer Tour (July), 2024 Climate Industry International Exhibition, 19th Seoul Drama Awards (September), and AFC (Asian Football Confederation) 2023 Awards Ceremony (October). Particularly at the Korea-Africa Summit in June, they received acclaim comparable to world-class protocol service companies for successfully providing perfect customized mobility and protocol services by managing 500 vehicles.

GroundK's B2B mobility platform 'T-RiseUp', which combines transportation and protocol services with ICT based on MICE-specialized experience, has also grown rapidly. T-RiseUp, meaning to 'Rise Up Transportation services', integrates vehicle services, airport protocol, and concierge services into a single channel. It's an innovative cloud solution that allows users to check flight details including arrival and departure times, gates, concierge staff for airport meet and greet, vehicle types, and vehicle numbers. Customer satisfaction is high as anyone with a PC or mobile device can check their guests' real-time location and service status. Particularly this year, not only PCOs, PEOs, and travel agencies participating in MICE events, but also government agencies and companies directly experiencing the technology and services have shown high satisfaction.

Receiving Interest from Asia and Middle East, Including Expansion into Thailand

Overseas business is also gaining momentum. Based on T-RiseUp development expertise, they supported the digital transformation of limousine service providers in Thailand this year. Additionally, they are pursuing solution supply to domestic hotel operators and overseas resort operators. They are moving quickly to expand business in Thailand and Singapore, where they already have branches. CEO Dong-won Jang of GroundK noted "There is high interest from Japan, Philippines, Macau, and Middle Eastern countries including UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar," expressing confidence in overseas market expansion possibilities.

GroundK is competing confidently with global top protocol service companies using its mobility service experience and expertise gained in Korea. The company has already completed partnership infrastructure for vehicle services in 50 countries. They have also launched a global service website (www.groundk.com). A GroundK representative stated, "We are preparing to enable vehicle service use overseas beyond domestic services for inbound tourists," adding "We will ensure that institutions and companies can enjoy vehicle services anywhere in the world when traveling overseas, regardless of the country."

The company is receiving high evaluations from various sectors for its high-quality services both domestically and internationally. GroundK has been selected as a 'Tourism Plus Tech Company' by the Korea Tourism Organization, won the 'Digital MICE Category' at the Korea MICE Awards, and been selected as a 2024 MICE Excellence Company. CEO Dong-won Jang has also been appointed as the MICE Support Division Representative of the Seoul MICE Alliance.

CEO Dong-won Jang said, "Business models similar to GroundK exist only in North America and Europe, not yet in Asia," adding "Based on our accumulated overseas networks and foundation, we will officially enter Japan and the Middle East in the new year."
