Vehicle Service Specialist GroundK Operates Shuttle Bus Service for Geomam Stn. Royal PARKCITY PRUGIO

GroundK, Korea's leading mobility startup specializing in premium vehicle services, has partnered with major developer DK Asia to operate resident-exclusive shuttle buses for the high-end resort city 'Geomam Stn. Royal PARKCITY PRUGIO'.

'Geomam Stn. Royal PARKCITY PRUGIO' is a large-scale apartment complex of 4,805 households built in Baekseok-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon, with Korea's first resort city concept. For residents' comfortable and safe commuting between the apartment complex and nearby Geomam Station, DK Asia is providing six shuttle buses free of charge for five years, with GroundK managing this service to ensure stable shuttle operations.

Residents can access the shuttle bus service through the exclusive IoT app LG ThinQ Home, where they can use GroundK's self-developed boarding pass issuance and verification system after resident authentication. The real-time vehicle monitoring system allows residents to check the current location of shuttle buses.

Resolving Transportation Inconvenience for 2,000 Resident Users

Currently, approximately 2,000 residents use the shuttle buses daily during morning and evening commute hours, with very high satisfaction rates among users. DK Asia and GroundK provide differentiated and special services for shuttle bus users through comfortable music and premium air fresheners, enhancing the commuting experience through sound and scent.

The project manager at DK Asia stated, "Following the completion of Geomam Stn. Royal PARKCITY, we plan to create a harmonious city without disconnection and a smart eco-city incorporating future core technologies through the development of Wanggil Station Royal PARKCITY, the first premium pilot complex of Korea's Resort Special City."
